How long is the certificate valid for?
The certificate of completion is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Renewal training is required after this period to maintain compliance with Irish regulations.
What does the final assessment include?
The course has two parts:
Theoretical Assessment: 10 questions (multiple choice & true/false). A minimum score of 80% is required within 3 attempts.
Practical Assessment: Unlocks after passing the theory section. Learners must upload 4 short videos (each under 40 seconds) demonstrating correct manual handling techniques. These are reviewed and assessed by a qualified instructor.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. Once both the theoretical and practical assessments are passed, learners can instantly download their certificate of completion. This certificate can be presented to employers as proof of compliance with Irish workplace safety legislation.
